Potassium Ferricyanide Crystals, Steel Railing, Wool, Textile, Rust.

(Shown alongside a creeping plant, and a copy of ‘Blood Meridian’ by Cormac McCarthy at ‘The Maiden’)

The central achoring point of the installation is a modified weapon. Fashioned from a railing, once imagined as a spear during a childhood game, the central object lays host to a growth of Stable (in this form), Red crystals. Growing out like a fungus, the piece echoed a common question during a severely dark time of my life;

‘Am I the poison in my own life that I so vehemently oppose?’
